Our dog loved his week stay at Dawg Tired. Kim emailed us reassuring photos of our tired pooch, making it easy for us to enjoy our vacation. The only downside was that when we returned to collect him, he didn’t want to leave. I’m sure he can’t wait to go back.

Maggie Mae loves her daily outtings with Kim and Heather. Not only does she get a lot of much needed exercise, her behavior has improved. When we are at work, we don’t have to worry about Mags and when we get home, she has been exercised so the stress of taking her on an immediate walk no longer exists. Beside all of this, Kim and Heather love these dogs and go the extra mile for each of them.

Last year we returned from 3.5 years living in Almaty, Kazakhstan with our Scottish Terriers. Unfortunately, Almaty has a bit of a problem with packs of stray dogs. Every time we went for a walk, we were on the look out for these packs and, occasionally, we had to flee. This made our dogs very protective of us vis-a`-vis other dogs, which led to some terrible socialization problems with other “normal” dogs. Basically, our Scotties would freak out every time they encountered another dog.

Under the tutelage of Dawg Tired, Bjorn and Boris were immersed in social contact with their “walking pack”. After 3 months, we cannot believe the difference. It is truly amazing. Kim and Heather have done a lot more than simply exercise Bjorn and Boris – they have trained them. Their efforts have made our own training much more effective. Life is now lower stress around our place.

Bones and I love Kim and Heather. Bones loves the walks and socializing with other dogs. I love that he now comes when he is called. I also love the peace of mind that he is having a blast when I’m away. I highly recommend Dawg Tired!!

Dawg Tired has always gone above and beyond the call of duty when it comes to animal care. Thor is excited and anxious to go with his friends when Kim or Heather come to the door, and that says a lot coming from a bulldog!

When it comes to weekend sitting, Dawg Tired has taken the extra steps to feed the animals on the dog’s schedule and to continue with any extra medicine or special care.

Having a high energy, working breed dog we were unsure that switching from doggie daycare, where where our Aussie always came home tired to a daily walk was the best choice. Dawg Tired proved from the start that our concerns were unnecessary. Ravi comes home from his walks tired and with the good manners that he left with. He never reeks of other dogs and with his needs met we enjoy a more flexible schedule with no dog pick up times to worry about. After well over a year of walks with Dawg Tired, not only does Ravi have an extra set of human friends who love him, we have knowledgeable sounding boards to confide, share, and work through our doggie issues with (a huge, and I might say “priceless” value add if you are newbie dog owners like us!).
