While we’re thankful Calgary winters are bright and sunny, it’s not always dancing snowflakes and a wintery wonderland. As we prepare for cold and snow, here are a few things we’d like for you to keep in mind as we take your dog in the months ahead to make sure that we have the most fun in the safest way possible:

With March here we are entering another season of, well, MUD. The thaw is happening and we need to be mindful of allowing our pooches to drink standing water where parasites love to furnish. Also keep an eye out for defrosting stool…the dogs LOVE to eat and roll in the stuff.
This would be a great time to start administering a natural dewormer, we get ours from Unleashed. This also a perfect time to leave out a larger towel and a bucket of water outside to swish the muddy paws in…makes for an easier clean up.
